A 'Wonderland' weekend
Recently I changed jobs and one of the benefits of this was no more shift work 😀😀. I have fully embraced working office hours, especially when it involves weekends like the one I've just had ❤.
My weekend started off on Friday with a couple of friends over for cocktails, I much prefer nights in like these over going out. As much as I do love a night out, relaxing on the sofa whilst gossiping with your girlies, is always favoured, especially if its my sofa and I don't have to go anywhere 😉.
On Saturday, i went for afternoon tea, now this is one of my favourite activities, especially a themed afternoon tea, I went with my mum, future mother-in-law and sister-in-law to 'Cardamon Tea Lounge in Colchester, the café is based on 'Alice in Wonderland' and was lovely with fantastic attention to detail, I would highly recommend it to people and they do an additional theme each month, I'm already looking forward to 'Mary Poppins' in May.
Today I got to combine another two activities I enjoy, the cinema and musicals! A local cinema was showing 'The Greatest Showman' Sing-a-long version, it happened to be one of my closest friends birthdays on Friday so we celebrated together today, by singing our hearts out,I feel that the people next to us, might still be getting over the ringing in their ears!!
